Data-driven services company Ve Interactive has today announced the opening of its DACH headquarters in Berlin, which will be headed up by Oliver Graf to serve the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.

Graf will head up Berlin office for Ve Interactive

Ve Interactive’s international presence is growing rapidly after it moved into mainland Europe with its Stockholm office in 2009, which now sits alongside offices in London, Boston, Sydney and Sao Paulo, through which the agency services some 1,600 clients.

The company also operates individual European country desks from its HQ in London's Tech City that are headed by native-language speakers. The former German desk there will now serve as the international delivery desk for the DACH operations and will transfer all German customers to the Berlin office for local management.

Graf will serve as managing director in Berlin and will grow Ve Interactive’s business across the DACH market. Graf, a Swiss native fluent in German and English, holds a degree in media and communications, and majored in business management.

An entrepreneur himself, he joins Ve Interactive from co-founding Type GmbH and most recently, Graf Media UG, a management consultancy and venture company specialising in the media sector with a focus on innovative and scalable business models with potential for internationalisation. Before that, he was International business development manager for Axel Springer AG in Berlin.

Graf said: "Being hooked from day one on Ve Interactive's innovative and market- proved business model, I am very excited to have the opportunity to extend Ve Interactive’s reach and to give local support to clients in this territory. Ve Interactive is one of the most exciting, successful and fastest-growing international companies out there, with a reputation for delivering consistently outstanding multi-lingual service, and so I’m looking forward to building a DACH team that will match the record of innovation and excellence of its other offices.”

David Brown, co-Founder and CEO of Ve Interactive, said: “We have a track record of aggressive growth. We don’t sit still as a company, be it in innovation to deliver ever-increasing functionality and client revenues, or be it in internationalisation,” “We are delighted to be opening in the dynamic tech hub of the city of Berlin, the new DACH office there will further extend our ability to deliver global returns to our clients.”

The company's proprietary online cart abandonment and remarketing software; VeCapture and VeContact was in development in 2008, and Ve Interactive came to market in 2009, educating the online marketplace on how to embrace online failure metrics by recovering abandoned transactions and remarketing to them. In doing so it established the marketplace and remains the market leader to date, as the only 'Enterprise-Level' professional software suite for cart recovery and conversion. The software went on to win four major industry awards in 2011 and has been nominated for four others in 2012. Ve Interactive has now evolved into an international data-driven services company, with a raft of additional complementary products and services, designed to assist online merchants in the re-thinking of their marketing funnels.

Brown adds: “Making the needle shift on conversions is pointless if the abandonment issue itself remains. Useful metrics are the ones that are aligned with business goals and turn persistent negatives into positives. This is why our data-driven services aim to reduce abandonment but focus on increasing all areas of online efficiency. We are therefore delighted to be able to fully deliver this comprehensive, 'holistic' approach to our DACH clients.”
