Digital creative agency Made Media has announced that it has acquired the assets of Firechaser, which will see the agency add the National Theatre, Southbank Centre and Roundhouse to its client list.

The acquisition will also see King’s Place, Young Vic, Wigmore Hall, Newcastle Theatre Royal and Mace Group work the agency.

This is Made Media’s third acquisition, having also taken over Fireloop Creative in 2009 and Meshed Media last year.

Jake Grimley, managing director of Made Media, said, “This acquisition presented a fantastic opportunity for us to consolidate our position in this sector. We enjoy building strong, ongoing relationships with our clients and this will allow us to continue innovating right across our portfolio,”

"We always had a lot of respect for Firechaser as an agency with a focus and approach very similar to our own, which has also helped the transition go smoothly. It’s an exciting time for us and we’re very much looking forward to working with our new clients”.

Hilary Otto, co-founder of Firechaser, added; “We had a few interested buyers but it was important to us that our clients would continue to be well served. Made Media was the natural choice because of their focus on open source technologies, their plans for innovating within the sector and their strong reputation.”
