Italian furniture brand Calligaris hands Clarion Communications UK launch brief

Italian furniture brand Calligaris has appointed Clarion Communications to handle its PR in the UK.

Clarion will undertake a consumer and trade campaign to launch Calligaris in the UK, with the aim of creating excitement and build demand through influencers and media interaction.

Activity will include a show home event, on-going product placement, influencer targeting, social media and media trips to the home of the brand, Milan.

Mauro Mosca, marketing director at Calligaris, said: “Clarion came highly recommended thanks to their great work with another stylish Italian brand, De’Longhi. Calligaris is a very well known brand in Italy and across Europe, and now we want to firmly establish ourselves in the UK.

Amanda Meyrick, managing director of Clarion Communications, added: “Calligaris is a fantastic brand with almost 90 years of Italian heritage, and offers a product range that’s smart, stylish and distinctive. Our campaign will focus on introducing the brand to UK audiences and building awareness and appreciation among key opinion formers.”

The campaign will be headed up by board director Shelley Wyatt.
