The Skills Funding Agency has appointed Kindred to launch and promote the new National Careers Service following a competitive pitch.

Combining trained advisers with an interactive website, The National Careers Service will offer independent, impartial information and advice on learning and work.

Kindred will work closely with the Skills Funding Agency to promote the service through PR and social media. The agency is tasked specifically with raising awareness of the service and driving usage at local and regional level.

John Minton, head of skills marketing at the Skills Funding Agency, said: “The team at Kindred will be working with us until March 2013 to support our in-house activity and we are expecting that the two teams will be very successful in increasing public awareness and use of the National Careers Service.”
