Judging panel forms as UK Event Awards 2012 opens for entry

The judging panel for this year’s UK Event Awards has begun to take shape with five names already in the frame as the event opens for entry.

Now in its third year, the awards, which celebrate the work of the events industry across the UK, will be judged by Rob Leach, managing director of Lin-Up, Dirk Mischendahl, founder and joint-managing director of Logistik Group, Peter Kerwood, marketing director for Altitude 360 London, Lynn Lester, managing director of events for The Drum and Paul Ephremsen, chief executive for ID Experiential.

The awards are being launched at the Conference and Hospitality Show in Leeds, taking place today at Leeds United Football Club’s stadium, Elland Road.

Categories for entry include Best Conference, Best Experiential Event, Best Unusual Venue, Best Marketing Strategy and, a new category, Best use of Budget.
