A microsite has been developed to promote Manchester United’s events destination United Events, developed by WRG.
The microsite aims to allow potential clients to view the offering by the club through smartphone, PC and Apple devices, and includes 360 degree panoramas of all event spaces.
The site can also be viewed on iPad and iPhone devices, and uses the device’s accelerometer to view the room, which changes as the iPad moves.
A customer search facility will also allow for rooms to be search for capacity or layout.
Nadine Callan, Venue marketing manager at Manchester United, commented: “WRG has used cutting edge technology to enhance the user experience of our website. The technological development of the microsite will enable event organisers across the globe to virtually recce the facilities at Old Trafford for celebrations, events, exhibitions, conferences and business meetings before booking their perfect venue. It is a fantastic development for United Events.”
