MEC Manchester wins Jysk media account

Furniture retailer Jysk has appointed MEC Manchester to handle its media planning and buying account.

WPP-owned MEC won the brief following a competitive pitch which is understood to have involved incumbent Carat Manchester and M3 Communications.

Its campaign will aim to drive sales at Jysk's five stores in the north of England and the Midlands and support the retailer's expansion into the south of England.
