The imagery is as lovely as the word 'mascotathon' is ugly. Shirley Temple's precocious voice provides the perfect musical backing to a charming sequence which shows children "joining the movement". It's all to promote an effort by McDonald's to make sure all the mascots make it to the Games on time.
