Stella Artois unveils Cannes Cinema Club as part of its film festival sponsorship

Stella Artois has launched the Stella Artois Cannes Cinema Club, as part of its sponsorship of the film festival, with online streaming offers, cinema screenings and festival tickets to be won through the brand’s Facebook page.

Stella Artois has partnered with Picturehouse Cinemas to host a series of special film screening events across Picturehouse locations nationwide in May, with fans to also have access to film premieres and Q&A events from June.

On-pack promotion on packs of Stella Artois and Stella Artois 4% lager will give fans the chance to stream one of a film from a selection of 50 chosen by online cinema MUBI.

James Watson, marketing director for Stella Artois in Western Europe, said: “As a long-standing supporter of great film, Stella Artois is proud to once again be an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival.

“In addition to the unique experiences we’re creating at Cannes, we’re thrilled to be able bring the spirit of Cannes to the UK with our exclusive series of film partnerships, experiences and content.”

The Cannes Cinema Club will also have a bespoke app for both iPhone and Android handsets, created in partnership with Little White Lies, allowing users to find their nearest cinema and check film reviews.
