‘Shaun the Sheep - Fleece Lightning’ app launches with Aardman Digital and Chillingo

Aardman Digital has today announced the launch of a new app: ‘Shaun the Sheep - Fleece Lightning’, where players race Shaun through themed tracks in order to beat the Naughty Pigs to the finish line.

The app, created in conjunction with Chillingo, allows users to design and create their own levels by using the ‘level editor’, choosing the terrain and obstacles which Shaun will face.

Dan Efergan, creative director at Aardman Digital, said: “How can you not love a frantic dash through the English countryside... albeit with messy mud, out of control tractors, and pigs fighting you for the farmyard's short supply of apples.

“Here at Aardman there's been a nice mix of happy giggling and frustrated shouting when playing, so we're excited to see this game finally released into the world. We're particularly chuffed with the level editor, and can't wait to see what fiendish tracks our fans are going to invent.”
