Restaurant chain T.G.I. Friday's has launched a new website created by Evolving.

Visitors to the site will be presented with information from their nearest restaurant, such as the top five most popular menu items and team members' favourite dishes.

Friday's staff will also be uploading their own content to the Fridoids blog so that guests get to know the team working at their chosen restaurant on any given day.

The new site also boasts a series of quirky widgets including the 'Juicy Burger Splatdown' mini-game which has been created to promote the chain's new range of burgers.

Friday’s in-store TV screens have also experienced a big change. They now include an online video-inspired playlist featuring iconic American-themed video clips, as well as showcasing recent Friday’s feats such its successful 2011 Guinness World Record and Bartender Championship.

Alison Dilley, T.G.I. Friday’s UK Head of Marketing commented: “T.G.I. Friday’s new digital look isn’t an evolution – it’s a full-scale revolution, aligning all our digital assets and giving users a real taste of the Friday’s restaurant experience.

"This is only the first stage in creating the Friday’s feeling in the digital space. There is much more to come.”
