Dr. Oetker has launched a new TV ad as part of a £1m campaign for its Ristorante pizza brand.

Created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, the commercial asks 'Is this the best pizzeria taste this side of Naples?' and offers customers a free pizza if it fails to meet their expectations.

The tag has been done by JWT.

The month-long campaign featuring 20 and 10-second TV ads will run across ITV1, Channel 4, Five and Daybreak. Media buying was handled by MEC Manchester.

Chris Lever, Dr. Oetker brand manager, said: “This campaign follows on from the successful ‘Italy’s best loved pizza’ activity in 2011, which drove an increase in value sales for the brand. We are confident this campaign will build on that success by encouraging mass re-appraisal of the brand, by driving the risk- free trial."
