The Territorial Army has teamed up with Clear Channel to launch its “Do More. Be More” awareness raising poster campaign with a ‘yomp’ up the Brecon Beacons.

The military trudge saw a giant illuminated poster erected atop of the Welsh mountain range, location of many TA training exercises.

Utilising the biggest standard format available the 96 sheet mesh platform was manufactured by Primasflex and entailed lugging 3 and a half tons of kit up the mountain.

Tom Weaver, managing director of Primasflex, said: “This was clearly a big test for the TA but also for us.

“We knew our posters worked on the high street but we’d never tried to put one up on a windswept mountain before.”

Colonel Stephen Potter, head of TA recruiting, said: “The TA is growing and we want to get the message out that we are recruiting. By joining the TA you can achieve so much more, both in your work and social life and I’m impressed by the team in achieving a really challenging task.”

I won't support any sort of cooperation with Clear Channel so long as they continue to support and defend hate radio -- specifically, the Rush Limbaugh talk radio program.
