Typhoo chooses social media campaign video competition winner

Typhoo Tea chooses social media video winner having worked alongside students from John Moores University for a social media project.

The project, part of the Typhoo UniversiTEA Challenge, launched in January and encouraged students to pitch to create a social video to help the brand reach a younger audience through a digital marketing campaign.

From the resulting entries, five finalists were selected to bring their ideas to life, with the videos each running across all of Typhoo’s social media channels, and an official screening held in Liverpool at the end of last month, with the winner being announced by CEO Keith Packer.

The winner was Joe Woodhouse, with his video ‘Going Tea Total for 00!’.

In total, the videos were viewed over 4,300 times.
