PR agency Grayling has hired Tristan Pineiro from 3 Monkeys as managing director of its consumer brands division.

He replaces Daniel Cohen who has been appointed managing director of Atomic, a Grayling agency, across EMEA.

Pineiro was previously 3 Monkeys' creative and consumer brand director, where he led a portfolio of clients including Three, E.ON, Disney, Pepsico, BiC and TravelSupermarket.

At Grayling he will work on Diageo, Nestlé and Energizer and will also be a member of the agency's UK executive board.

Alison Clarke, CEO UK & Ireland at Grayling, said: "Tristan will bolster our strong consumer team and bring a wealth of experience and abundance of creative brilliance as he shapes the future of Grayling‘s consumer offer."

Pineiro will take up the new post in May.
