Lesley Morton appointed as Scottish Government web editor

Lesley Morton, who has held the role of account director at Material for two years, has been announced as the new web editor for the Scottish Government.

Morton, who has also held roles at Stripe Communications and Smarts, has begun her new role today.

Clare Smith, senior PR manager for the Scottish Government, said: "Lesley will join the Scottish Government as www.scotland.org web editor, part of the team promoting Scotland's international reputation.

"We're delighted to have her join the team, Lesley brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts from her music and cultural PR background and will continue to maintain the site's popularity in various markets, showcasing Scotland as a great place to live, work, study, visit, invest and do business.”
