Around 750 patents have been acquired by Facebook from technology company International Business Machines Corp (IBM).

According to Bloomberg, Facebook has made the acquisitions in a bit to strengthen its intellectual portfolio claiming the infringement of 10 patents.

The parents range from search to semiconductors, it has been reported, although Facebook has declined to comment.
