Olympics partner Atos hires IAS b2b Marketing

Atos, the global IT provider for the London 2012 Olympic Games, has named IAS b2b Marketing as one of its 'key strategic marketing partners' for 2012.

The Cheshire agency will now 'work across several of the organisation's major marketing initiatives'. IAS says it is working one one of Atos's 'most important marketing programmes for 2012' as well as five vertical and account based campaigns.

Reuben Webb, creative director at IAS, said: “We developed the category redefining positioning 'The Business Technologists' which struck just the right note with a recession-hit market needing information technology to become properly business focussed.

"The Business Technologists was also a major coup for internal branding and was celebrated as a culture redefining moment. At last the humble IT guy could hold his head high as a Business Technologist."
