Somerset cider maker Thatchers has launched a trade campaign to promote the new labels on its premium heritage 2011 Vintage Cider, Rosé and single variety Katy cider brands.

The print ads and labels were designed by Bray Leino, whose aim was to "reflect the quality, provenance and family heritage Thatchers applies to its range".

The ads will run throughout March, April and May and feature imagery from Myrtle Farm and the family photo album, including a picture of founder William Thatcher.

The ‘People Who Care About Cider’ television commercial will also be on screen from early April.

Martin Thatcher, managing director of Thatchers, said: "We asked Bray Leino to create a fresh approach to our trade and on-shelf marketing and we think our customers will like the results.”
