Savant Distribution has appointed Weber Shandwick to help position health brand Udo’s Choice Ultimate Oil Blend.

The agency has been briefed to push the brand towards the beauty pages, building on the brand’s partnership with make-up artist Jemma Kidd.

Jo Leah, managing director at Weber Shandwick North, said: “The health sector has long understood the multiple benefits of Udo’s Choice. However, recent years have seen a surge in understanding of healthy lifestyle choices and interest in how ingredients work.

“Our strategy will harness these opportunities, leveraging third-party endorsement to build consumer confidence and perceptions of Udo’s Choice as a must-have beauty product.”

David Gunning, marketing manager at Savant Distribution, added: “The team’s strong beauty experience, superb media contacts, and knowledge of the sector led to a very strong response to our brief. However, it was the team’s strategic and imaginative approach to the campaign that ensured Weber Shandwick was the clear choice.”
