DF Concerts has rebranded itself as DF Concerts & Events, with the new identity created by Material_WORKS.

The aim of the new identity is to reflect its growing diversification into non-music related events.

Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events, said: “Whilst music will always remain the major driving force of our business, our skills, expertise and knowledge as promoters and event organisers can be easily transferred into many other types of large-scale events.

“We have a highly skilled and experienced team that is as comfortable promoting or organising for the likes of The Eagles, Take That, Kings of Leon, Eminem, AC/DC, Radiohead, Rihanna and Coldplay and the best emerging talent around as well as event managing cultural events, ice rinks and sporting spectaculars.. Therefore, it makes sense for us to continue to diversify and have a company name and identity that appropriately reflects this.”

Lynn McBean, creative director at Material_WORKS, added: “It’s been engaging, challenging and exciting, not to mention a real privilege, to work on the re-brand of an organisation that has pushed the boundaries of the live music and event sector in Scotland for so long. We wanted to build on that iconic heritage and develop an identity that has the fluid movement of sound at its core, but remains future facing and symbolises the next phase in both the brand and the company’s evolution.”
