Bloom expands team having grown revenue by 36% in 2011

Leeds digital agency Bloom has announced a growth in its annual income of 36%, having entered a joint venture with media agency AMS and launch a London social media agency.

The agency as that its income had grown to £1.8m in the last year, having agreed both operational deals, including the launch of social media agency Whisper, and picked up business with Royal Caribbean Cruises, Aviva and Gazprom.

New recruits have seen the agency grow to 32, it has also said, with Dan Akers joining as development manager, Curtis McPherson as account director of Whisper and Simon Wilson as operations director.

Alex Craven, managing director at Bloom, said: “Our growth is driven by the increasing number of brands looking to digital providers to become their lead agency. We are combining strategic brand development with on and off-line campaign delivery to really make a difference to our clients. In the last twelve months we have made a significant investment in talented people to ensure we can continue to provide great client service.”
