Teesside University’s media planning and buying account has been awarded to MediaCom Edinburgh following a competitive tender.

The tender was advertised last year, seeking an agency to negotiate and purchase advertising space and air time across local and national newspapers, specialist press, radio, television, online, digital and outdoor platforms.

The advert also claimed that the two year contract will include a budget of £849,738.

David Hudson, assistant director Recruitment and Marketing at Teesside University, added “MediaCom have the right balance of experience and skills to complement our approach to education marketing. We are looking forward to working with them to help us get our message out to students about what Teesside University can offer.”
