Liverpool digital agency Rippleffect has created a new website for Tottenham Hotspur striker Louis Saha.

The site, published in English and Saha's native French, features photos and videos from matchdays, blog articles and Q&As with fans.

A Rippleffect spokesperson said: "As a digital agency that has created websites for some of England's most successful and best supported clubs, we relished the opportunity to work with Louis on his own personal site.

"Louis wanted a platform that allowed him to engage with fans, providing advice to young footballers and sharing his views on matters on and off the pitch."

The new site launches as Saha prepares to publish a book about the life of the modern footballer.

Laura Doyle, international player liason manager of Stellar Football, said: "It was important to use the site to talk about his book, as having written it himself, without the help of a ghostwriter, it is something he is very proud of.

"Rippleffect showed us how we could use the site to promote his book, implement different elements to maximise traffic, make it more interactive and allow Louis to get closer to his fans."

Rippleffect has worked with Saha's former club, Everton, since 2003.
