Editz staff depart to open up rival production facility Boardwalk Studio
A new motion design and post production studio in Manchester, Boardwalk Studio, has been opened by a number of employees at another post production house in the city, Editz.
It is understood that the team of designers, editors, animators, products and directors departed Editz to set up on their own at the beginning of February.
They will be based on Prince Street and specialise in motion design and post production for commercials, broadcast, corporate, live events and digital campaigns.
"We wanted to create a relaxed studio space that would inspire both ourselves and our clients" explained Director, Stuart O'Donnell.
“We're really excited by the new venture and feel that offering a boutique style service gives our clients direct contact with the team who are actually doing the work. This gives clients the support and creativity to achieve great visual work for projects of all sizes".
