The latest PETA ad, featuring a woman with an injured neck because her boyfriend turned vegan and now he can ‘bring it like a tantric porn star’ has received a lot of criticism online.
The ad directs people to bwvaktboom.com (boyfriend went vegan and knocked the bottom out of me).
Created by Matter, the ad has led to PETA trending on Twitter, with comments such as ‘Because loving animals means hating women.’ ‘“Knocked The Bottom Out of Me”? Knock it off, @PETA.’ And ‘As a note to PETA: good sex rarely, if ever, results in hospitalisation. #doingitwrong’.

makes the Ryan Air stuff look pretty tame...

I'm pretty sure that must break at least 3 or 4 rules of advertising... still it does what Peta always wants to do, get attention.

Yes they get attention and cause debate, but for the wrong reasons. I think it does more harm than good. I'm vegan myself and hate Petas ads. Peta gives vegans a bad reputation.

Oh, yawn. Tell you what, instead of people having a laugh at a vegetarian lifestyle, let's show more pictures of Syrian oppression, wounded protestors, rioting, racism, raging wars, and amoral criminals. Is it just me, or did Planet Fun just slip out of orbit and leave us with this Earth full of outraged ne'er do wells, who'd rather have a fight with some barely noticed dietary organisation, than actually take a stand against some of the real injustices of this world?

Touched a nerve?

The vegan boyfriend cares sooooo much about his girlfriend he polyfills his wall rather than accompany her to A&E. Yep, that's PETA.
