Kerrygold has appointed Karmarama as its advertising agency, leading a relaunch campaign for the butter brand.

The Irish brand, owned by Adams Foods Ltd, is to undertake its biggest investment to date in an integrated marketing campaign.

Alastair Jackson, marketing director at Adams Foods, said: “Karmarama demonstrated that they really understand the modern British consumer, creating something unique for Kerrygold in what is a very crowded marketplace.

“We are also delighted to be adding our Kerrygold brand to the Adams Foods and Karmarama partnership following the appointment of the agency in 2011 for Pilgrims Choice cheese.”

Sid McGrath, chief strategy officer at Karmarama, said: “There are moments in life when only a good butter will do, so we’re thrilled to be working with such great clients to spread the word about Kerrygold.”
