Total Film has partnered with image recognition platform Blippar to transform the latest issue of the magazine into an interactive print issue, which goes on-sale tomorrow.

The issue, when teamed with a smartphone and the Blippar application, allows readers to bring the magazine to life, giving the option of putting their own picture on the front cover, then sharing it via social networking. Other aspects of the interactive content include the opportunity to take a look around the Total Film offices, watch behind-the-scenes clips and previews from upcoming films, and buy DVDs straight from the magazine itself.

Jane Crowther, editor of Total Film said “The Blippar experience is a fantastic opportunity for our readers to even further engage in the magazines cutting-edge content. The interactive features are seamlessly integrated throughout the magazine, even allowing readers to star on the front cover and connect directly to our forums, making this our most interactive, futuristic issue to date.”
