A 3D animation has been released of the popular children’s book ‘Gabby and Gator’, created by Studio Distract and former Disney animator James Burks, who also wrote the original story.

The animation is designed to further promote the brand and elevate its presence as a book onto television screens. The team behind the animation are planning to take the Gabby and Gator brand global, beginning with a partnership between the UK and USA, and are also in talks with broadcasters in Australia and Canada.

Steve Hanton, managing director at Studio Distract, said: "Animation is one of the only mediums where completely new worlds can be created, taking the viewers somewhere they have never been and telling stories that will hold a place in their heart."
