Marmite releases limited edition Valentine’s e-cards for Facebook fans

Marmite is thanking fans for the increase in Facebook followers by launched three limited edition e-cards created by artist Pete Fowler, featuring the messages ‘I need you in my life,’ ‘spread the love,’ and ‘let’s get together’.

The brand had appointed Marmite fan Fowler, known for his Monsterist illustrations for bands such as Super Furry Animals and The Horrors, to create the cards, with fans also being given the chance to win a set of signed prints worth over £300.

Nicky Waymark, marketing manager at Unilever, adds: “We are delighted to launch the e-Valentine’s Day cards. Our fans are crazy about Marmite so we are always looking for new ways to engage.

"It has been great working with Pete as he is such a big supporter of the brand and understands it completely. Hopefully everyone will join in spreading the love and share the cards with their family and friends.”

The cards can be shared with Facebook friends through an app.
