Ken Livingstone has unveiled a poster campaign, created by BETC London, highlighting how the London Metropolitan Police Force has been cut under Mayor Boris Johnson.

Inspired by the COI’s ‘Watch out! There is a thief about’ posters of the 1960s, the new campaign features the strapline ‘Watch out! There’s less police about’.

The ad, which will run in the London Evening Standard and other London regional press, is part of an ongoing series of ads planned by BETC London in the run-up to the mayoral election on Thursday 3 May.

Labour statistics no the increase of crime are featured on the ads, as well as invisting people to text ‘Copper’ to the BORISSTOPPERS hotline, 66007.
