Creative agency INITIALS Marketing has restructured its board, with managing director Jamie Matthews becoming CEO and Richard Barrett, formerly client partner, becoming managing director.

The London agency will restructure its board with the promotions of Matthews and Barrett, while associate director James Willoughby will become client services director and Chris Wareham will act as director and head of INITIALS Experience.

Craig Lawrie, who was previously head of digital, has also been promoted to the management board as director and head of INITIALS Digital, while Lucy Savage joins the board as a director, heading up the Sainsbury’s business.

Nick Presley will continue as executive creative director and Alistair Hooper official becomes finance director, having worked at the agency for the last two years.

Jamie Matthews said: “INITIALS is six years old and has turned in a stellar performance to date. We’re on the cusp of the next stage of our growth plans, and the board restructure is indicative of the fact that we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re proactively driving our business by making the most of the incredible talent we have within our group.

‘INITIALS is structured around four interconnecting centres of excellence: experience, shopper, digital, and marketing. The new board complements and brings together the top heads of our key channels and disciplines.”
