Fraser Bradshaw, managing director of McCann Erickson Bristol, has resigned from the agency after nine years.

Bradshaw is understood to be set to take time away from the agency, but is expected to reveal his future intentions later in the year.

Bradshaw is also a board director of local network organisation Bristol Media.

The Bristol office reports to Dean Lovett, CEO of McCann Erickson Communications House in Birmingham who said: "One of our senior directors, Edi FitzGerald, has been running the Bristol office in Fraser's absence and we look forward to announcing a permanent replacement shortly.

"Despite the loss of Axa last year we remain confident in the future growth of Bristol and are investing in the agency for the long term."
