A Taiwanese commercial featuring a Steve Jobs impersonator, complete with angelic wings and halo, has sparked outrage

Rubbing salt into the wounds Action Electronics resurrected the late Apple guru to hawk their latest Android tablet – despite Jobs famously dismissing the platform as “shit”.

In the clip ‘Jobs’, ala Taiwanese comedian Ah-Ken, takes to the stage in blue jeans and black turtle neck to show off the devices capabilities, exclaiming: “Thank God I finally get to play other tablets”.

Chelsea Hen, a spokesperson for Action defended his firms appropriation of the Jobs, telling Reuters: “Steve Jobs always promoted things that were good for people, Apple products, so his image can also promote other things that are good.”

Apple has yet to issue a formal response to the ad.
