Ian Plummer joins Volkswagen Passenger Cars as head of retail operations
Volkswagen Passenger Cars has appointed Ian Plummer as its head of retail operations.
Plummer will take over the role from Alex Smith, after he was promoted to director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and joins from Renault, having previously held both the role of managing director of Renault Retail Group UK and director of commercial operations for Renault UK.
“I am thrilled to be joining a brand with such a huge pedigree as well as ambition, and at what is a very exciting time given the pending arrival of a number of new products including the up!. I’m looking forward to playing a strong part in Volkswagen’s continuing success,” commented Plummer.
