The PepsiMAX advert for the Super Bowl, created by TBWA\Chiat\Day, has been unveiled, with a 60 second Pepsi ad also to be aired.

The PepsiMAX ad, starring Regis Philbin shows a Coke Zero driver trying to buy a PepsiMAX without anyone noticing, but fails in his attempts not to draw attention to himself. The Coke betrayal is similar to a campaign the company ran last year about Santa.

Pepsi is also to launch a 60 second advert starring Elton John and Melanie Amaro, the 19-year-old winner of The X Factor in America. It has been described as "a rock-fantasy version of medieval times", and will end with the tagline ‘Where there's Pepsi, there's music’.

While the ‘King’s Court’ ad has not yet been revealed, a behind the scenes look is available on YouTube.
