Car dealership Eastern Western has announced plans to improve its customer communications by enhancing its social media profile.

Digital marketing agency NSDesign has been enlisted to provide employees with training in the use of Twitter and Facebook to develop a social media strategy to increase online exchanges with the public.

Fiona Larnach, Group Marketing Manager at Eastern Western Motor Group said: "It is our company policy to offer an exceptional service to our customers and communicate with them in whatever manner suits them best. We recognise social media is rapidly becoming the popular method of contact and we look forward to embracing this new channel.”

Gary Ennis, Managing Director at NSDesign, said: “Increasingly, large businesses are putting a great deal of emphasis on their social media profile - and all for good reason.

"Twitter and Facebook are great tools for Eastern Western as they will enable individual dealerships to communicate more effectively with their customers, and also to reach out to new ones. Customers will also be able to make enquiries online, and get a very quick response."
