Bristol based cross-artform venue and producer Watershed has appointed Ladbury PR to oversee its national public relations campaigns this year.

The organisation has been working with Ladbury PR on individual projects since 2010, and will now handle institution-wide communications on a national level this year, with Watershed celebrating its 30th birthday in June.

Louise Gardner, head of communications at Watershed, said: “This year, our 30th, will be a particularly important one for us. We will look back at all that has been achieved by the extraordinarily talented people from all over the world who have converged at Watershed in Bristol, and glance at the cultural collaboration and artistic experimentation yet to come.

“We like the collaborative style of Ladbury and they were the best choice for us to work with on organisational PR on both a national and international level.”

Rebecca Ladbury, founder of Ladbury PR, added: “We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Watershed over the last couple of years on a wide range of inspiring projects, from artist residencies exploring objects that dance, to blue sky projects building sculptures which tap into our sense of smell, and high profile debates at the in-house cinema to name but a few. It is amazing to see what Watershed has achieved over the last thirty years so we are extremely delighted to be working with the team on a more continuous basis and to be given the opportunity to shine a light on their very ambitious plans in sight."
