The acquisition of Fuse8 by founders Mark Walton and Andy Hutchinson from its parent company, will see the departure of one of its non-executive chairman Jeremy Middleton, although another non-executive, Graeme Burns will continue.

Former Media Square chief executive Middleton joined Fuse8 as a non-executive chairman in September 2009, working alongside the agency’s senior management team as it joined AIM in 2010.

Last year, the agency delisted from the stock exchange however after it discovered that its financial targets would not be met.

The buyout of Fuse8 from parent company Fuse8 ltd by the founders will see Middleton depart the agency, although Graeme Burns will remain involved at a board level, Hutchinson informed The Drum.

“From a day-to-day perspective there will be absolutely no changes to the way fuse8 currently works. However, in the future, we shall be able to undertake more investment in the development of the business,” added Hutchinson.

“Our team remains unchanged and we are here to deliver the same award-winning, results-driven work that we have become known for.”
