Scottish marketing communications agency Multiply has announced the acquisition of London experience agency Made.

The merger will see the two agencies work under the Multiply name in order to provide a marketing service from two different sites.

Dean Dempsey, MD of Made, will now be part of a group of five partners overseeing the new business, and will be based between Edinburgh and London, while Simon Sa-feio will head up the London office.

He said: “We’re thrilled to make this announcement. We’ve married our talents to bring our clients the very best in Experience Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications. Our clients will benefit from working with an extended team of talented people and a broader spectrum of in-house services. We will, however, continue to always ensure that audience experience is at the heart of our business, but with the added bonus of now being able to deliver against every channel.”

Mark Fowlestone, a founding partner of Multiply, said: “The most important ingredients of two successful agencies becoming one are respect and empathy. We have known Dean and the team at Made for years now and work together really well. The Made portfolio is awesome and no one thinks quite like their MD, Dean. I’m sure together with our integrated marketing reputation we’re going to be a pretty special force.”
