With 2012 promising to be another challenging year for marketing services agencies, MiNetwork is set to kick off its calendar of networking events by inviting a number of leading agency bosses to share their secrets on keeping clients happy for more than a decade.

Following on from MiNetwork’s new business strategy events held across the UK last year, this discussion panel event will see agency bosses joined on the panel by a client that they have worked with for more than decade to talk about how they have kept their relationship on track over such a long period of time.

Issues that panelists will be discussing will include how the client/agency relationship has been managed and kept fresh over the years, how they have ensured that the strategy and work has continued to evolve, how they have dealt with any differences in strategic or creative direction and how client/agency relationships can be managed through and maintained during a review or re-pitch.

Richard Draycott, managing director of MiNetwork said, “With February being all about relationships, we thought it appropriate to focus on how agency/client relationships can survive the many trials and tribulations that they face through the years. Winning new clients is vital in this business climate, but the real key to a successful business is to keep the clients you already have happy and spending their budget with you over many years. I hope that attendees will pick up some new tips for keeping their clients happy and will also be up for sharing some of their secrets for maintaining long term relationships.”

The event takes place at the offices of BJL in Manchester on Weds 7th March and starts at 6.30pm with networking and drinks.
