According to an infographic by Sociagility, the real winner of the Iowa caucus predictions was the mainstream media.

The infographic looks at how the vote went in Iowa, and how that compared to the social media mentions for each candidate on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

It was also found that there was an 0.9 correlation coefficient between the final results and the media mentions for each candidate in the week running up to the caucus.
