Holiday business Keycamp is this week launching its first TV advert as part of an integrated campaign created by Manchester based the if agency.

Driven by the TV advert, set in a virtual world and set to air on ITV and satellite channels, the campaign also features banner adverts and a targeted direct mail strategy.

The main aims of the campaign, which launches tomorrow, are to increase brand awareness of Keycamp and to make it more relevant and accessible to new audiences.

Jo Whiteley, creative director at the if agency, said: “Our key insight was straight forward ‘if the kids are happy so are the parents’. Keycamp is all about having fun so the sound of contagious laughter is a key part of the TV creative leaving viewers in no doubt that with Keycamp you'll have a holiday to remember! Keycamp has a fantastic brand personality so our job has been to bring it to life in an engaging and fresh way.”

The main call to actions are for viewers to go online or contact the call centre to find out details of parc locations, their facilities and the accommodation on offer.

Whilst Dave McKenna, head of brand at Keycamp, added: “As a business we are passionate about giving our customers the best holiday possible. We offer a whole range of different experiences and self-catering accommodation across Europe.

"The launch of the new campaign - and the TV ad in particular - is a really exciting step for us, one that will open up Keycamp to a much wider audience.”
