Iceland’s advertising campaign featuring Stacey Solomon has angered the resident of Degenham who believe it is not a true representation of their town.

The Sun reports that the Christmas campaign, featuring the I’m A Celebrity winner singing ‘Driving Home for Christmas’, features houses that residents say are more grand than those actually situated within the town.

The advert includes images of Solomon arriving at a detached house, which is seemingly her home.

Said one resident to The Sun; “There isn’t a house like it in Dagenham.”

The Advertising Standards Authority is said to have dismissed any complaints, stating that no rules were broken by the advert.
