TalkTalk has remained the most complained about internet service provider for four quarters in a row, according to Ofcom, while Virgin Media received the least complaints.

Despite the number of complaints about the provider falling over the past six months, it still topped the list for customer dissatisfaction. The data is compiled based on the number of complaints received directly, not the number received by each internet service provider.

3 was the mobile network provider that received the most complaints in 2011 – with charge disputes and customer service problems the most criticised areas – while O2 was the least complained about provider with 0.02 complaints per 1000 customers.
