WPP's Ogilvy & Mather takes 49% stake in Nanjing Yindu Advertising and Commerce

WPP’s Ogilvy & Mather has acquired nearly half of the shares of Nanjing Yindu Advertising and Commerce.

Ogilvy & Mather has bought 49% of the Chinese advertising agency as it expands its teach into the Yangtze River Delta, which has the second highest gross domestic product of all Chinese provinces and strengthens WPP’s approach within China.

Nanjing Yindu Advertising was founded in 1994 and now exmploys 250 people, working with clients such as Jiangsu Mobile, Heilan Home, Jiangsu Yanghe Brewery, Nanjing Iveco, MoonHare, Simcere, Longliqi and China Construction Bank.
