Here is a look at some of the online work compiled by communications agencies to celebrate the festive season and wish clients and their peers well, oh and a few lovely Christmas jumpers pics too (thanks to The Union in the main image field.)

Sapient Nitro

The digital agency has created a personalised musical Christmas card using Tesla Coil-powered radio station Sparkleradio fm. We enjoyed its rendition of Jingle Bells especially.

Acart Communications: Paranoël Activity

A spoof Christmas advert from Canadian agency of the recent horror movie series (video above).

McCann Erickson Birmingham

The agency has built a microsite feautring Jelly Beans, entitled ‘Spill the Beanz' as well as filming a promotional video (see final video) for the site where users are asked to share their experiences at their office Christmas parties.

Clock

Clock as developed the ‘Secret Santa’s Tombola’, a new free iPhone web app that helps people find the perfect Secret Santa gift through Amazon, which has agreed to donate all referral fees to The Prince Trust.

TDA

TDA has strategically place a Robin somewhere within its new website. Those who spot it are asked to email to win a special prize (see gallery

Beyond

An online video presents the creation of Beyond’s Christmas mural, where, the agency produced 3,600 badges and then used them to construct the mural, taking five hours in total (see videos)

DMA

The Direct Marketing Association has released an online Christmas game ‘Snowflake Takedown’, which will run until Friday 23 December, where the top ranked player will win a Hotel Chocolat goodie bag.

Delineo

The agency is looking for members of the public to ‘Be Santa’ to help it donate £1,000 to various charities, with each of the chosen Santas deciding the chosen charities.

Over a four day period, different charities will be chosen, with the four charities deciding where the fifth £200 will go on 23 December.

Collective

Collective hired gameshow legend Lionel Blair to play charades, only this time the game was led by suggestions made through Twitter. The game of Christmas charades was so popular that it eventually saw its hashtage trend in London, with over 800 tweets (see videos)

Rave

Six drawings (see gallery) were created and emailed to the agency’s subscription newsletter list, with each drawing holding the key to an overall theme. The first to guess and email the agency with the theme won a bottle of champagne.

Pocket Rocket

The design agency’s ‘Chrimbo Penguins’ touches on a topical nerve with the recent revelations around the BBC’s fake footage that was broadcast as part of Frozen Planet, although it’s hard to decide whether this footage of Penguins enjoying the snow is real or not. We’ll assume it is though. (Video below).

20:20

Christmas movie mash up – a competition to guess how many movies are quoted within the agency’s video speech (video below).

TMW

TMW has developed an online video of their ‘woolly wizards’ creating a classic Christmas jumper, attempting to beat the Christmas jumper and raise funds for the agency’s chosen charity, Sue Ryder nursing and hospice care. (Video below).

Music

To tie in with the agency’s name, Music has developed a site which plays Christmas classic melodies such as 'Do They Know It's Christmas', with some highly cynical lyrics accompanying each piece.

Weiden + Kennedy Amsterdam

There’s something very scary about this idea which is effectively a group of people skyping each other over a festive dinner table. There’s something very scary about that!!! Viewers are then invited to join the dinner party of five themselves.

Fold7

Fold7 has produced a talking heads online video where members of staff discuss what its like working with the greatest creative director of all time – go on, guess who. (Video eight).

Fluid Creative Media

Fluid has developed a Facebook app allowing users to create their own Christmas jumper designs. A choice of people can be chosen to wear each jumper, with the person who receives the most jumpers having to wear it for real at the agency’s Christmas lunch on 23 December.

Michon – ‘Oribble Sprouts

An online game has been created by Michon allowing users to attempt to catapult sprouts into the moving cooked turkey – really basic but it’s actually really good fun!
