Numiko creates Jon Snow's 2011 Quiz of the Year

Digital agency Numiko has developed Jon Snow's 2011 Quiz of the Year for the Channel 4 website.

The online quiz has been launched to support Snow's new show looking back over the year's news of earthquakes, riots, uprisings and royal weddings.

Leeds-based Numiko has created a timed quiz made up of 20 multiple choice questions that cover the biggest news stories of the year.

Players have 20 seconds to answer each question and once they have finished they can share their score on Twitter and Facebook.

Vicky Taylor, commissioning editor new media, news and current affairs at Channel 4, said: "We know from past experience that audiences enjoy interacting with current affairs programmes to test their knowledge of events.

"It has been such a momentous year for news, that this is just the right time to test the nation’s knowledge of what really happened in 2011."
