Staffordshire County Council has launched two new public information campaigns for Christmas.

The multi-format media campaign urges residents not to drink drive and to do their bit to help stamp out abuse.

The council enlisted media planners Out of Home International to work on the campaign and the ads are running on billboards, buses and mobile vehicles.

Chloe Shrubb, marketing officer at Staffordshire County Council, said: "We chose mobile outdoor advertising for the ‘Game Over’ campaign in order to really tailor the messages to our audience.

"The Safer Roads Partnership are by no means kill joys but by using advans, bus and billboard advertising in ‘hot spot’ areas we were able to remind people that they can have a fun time while also thinking about their responsibilities when driving."
