Publishing giant Trinity Mirror has announced the launch of a partnership between its online estate agent network, Email4Property, and flatshare portal Easyroommate.

The deal will harmonise log-in details across the two sites, giving users of Email4Property the option of choosing from over 15,000 flatshares and 75,000 flatmates alongside properties to buy or rent.

Jonathan Moore, director of Easyroommate, said: “In the last year, we’ve seen the UK flat-sharing population increase by 100,000 as more and more renters look to save money and home owners look to earn extra cash from renting out their spare rooms.

“This partnership allows us to reach even more prospective flat-sharers, and is another crucial step in Easyroommate’s strategy for ongoing growth.”
